This is a busy week for going on adventures in Japan. People looking for a darker tale will be able to trip through people’s minds to get critical information to solve murders in AI: The Somnium Files, a new thriller from Zero Escape creator Kotaro Uchikoshi. People who would rather experience a lighter, more fanciful adventure can help Link collect instruments and wake the Wind Fish again in a The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake for the Nintendo Switch.
In addition to some newer experiences, an older one is coming back. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has returned to multiple platforms. A port makes it portable on the Nintendo Switch, while a remaster makes it look crisper on the PlayStation 4.
Finally, Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland Retro is coming to the Nintendo Switch this week in Japan.
