Hideo Kojima provided an update on the 2019 Tokyo Game Show Death Stranding footage that will be appearing at Sony’s booth on Twitter. The first day one show will be at 3:30pm JST and last 49 minutes. This is earlier than initially announced. He also confirmed it will consist of prerecorded gameplay.

Kojima then tweeted about the general content of the Death Stranding footage that will appear on stage at TGS 2019. He noted that the footage will be prerecorded, so there’s no need to worry about failing or network reliability, and edited to avoid spoilers. Specifically, certain map and item details won’t be shown. It will look at the first third of a game mission. Specifically, he said, “Tomorrow I’ll show you the 1st 1/3 of the game mission for everyone to understand the basic flow of DS.”

Ayako Terashima, Kojima’s assistant, shared an updated schedule noting when people will be able to catch the Death Stranding TGS 2019 live streams. It will appear on YouTube at 11:30pm PT on September 11, 2019/2:30am ET on September 12, 2019, 12:00am PT/3am ET on September 14, 2019, and 12am PT/3am ET on September 15, 2019.

Death Stranding will appear on November 8, 2019.
