Dragon Quest XI S Footage Shows What The Slayer Of The Sands Fight Is Like In 2D

While the Dragon Quest XI S demo only offers the 3D perspective, the full game will let people experience the adventure in either 2D or 3D. Now, some footage from PAX West 2019 shows what a Gallopolis-area quest looks like when people opt for the 2D look.

In one portion of Dragon Quest XI, the hero and his friends end up helping Prince Faris, of Gallopolis, exterminate a monster known as The Slayer of the Sands. This means the Luminary, Erik, Serena, and Veronica, with Sylvando as a guest, follow the prince through the sands to find the monster and defeat it. In this gameplay clip from GameSpot, people get to see more minor fights against a Restless Armour and Spitzfire, then watch Sylvando learn about the group’s adventure before the fight against The Slayer of the Sands.

Dragon Quest XI S will come to the Nintendo Switch on September 27, 2019. A demo is immediately available and recently received a patch to prevent crashes.
