Two Disney video games will be coming back again. Digital Eclipse will be restoring and Nighthawk Interactive will be publishing Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King. This compilation will include the Game Boy/Super Game Boy, Genesis/Mega Drive, and Nintendo versions of Aladdin and The Lion King, It will arrive on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Fall 2019.
There is something important to note about this collection. Capcom created the Super NES version of Aladdin and Virgin Games made the Genesis one, with the Game Boy and NES versions based on the Genesis one. Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King will not include the Super NES version of Aladdin. However, it will have the Game Boy, NES, Super NES, and Genesis versions of The Lion King, which were all handled by Virgin.
Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King will include a number of feature people expect from Digital Eclipse collections. You will be able to select and use cheat codes, rewind in case you make a mistake, or watch the games being played in the Interactive Game Viewer. It will have a museum with gallery showing concept art, music player, and section looking at interviews with the creators. Also, Aladdin will have its tradeshow demo and final cut present. This is in addition to improved graphics.
Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Fall 2019.
