An icon has come to Teppen, a Capcom crossover card game that might remind people a little of titles like Hearthstone. Resident Evil’s Jill Valentine is now available in the game. Her debut was just revealed on Twitter.
The Teppen version of Jill brings in a number of elements from her incarnations over the years. She is wearing the same outfit she did in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. New Generation Pictures noted that Patricia Ja Lee, the voice of Jill in Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, returned for the role here. (She also played Cassie Chan in multiple Power Rangers series.) Here, she is a Red hero, just like Rathalos and Ryu, who is good for dealing a lot of damage and effectively using combo units.
In addition to Jill in Teppen, other updates for the game were teased. In September 2019, a Day of Nightmares kind of card pack will be released. This will be a Resident Evil-themed one, with Nemesis also hinted as some sort of inclusion and the Umbrella logo being part of the pack’s name. Then, in Winter 2019, more heroes and additional card packs will appear.
Here’s the Jill Teppen trailer.
Teppen is available for Android and Apple iOS devices.
