While Glavenus from Monster Hunter Generations was confirmed for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne since earlier this month, it wasn’t until today that we finally saw live gameplay of the hunt against the monster, at the ACGHK 2019 Sony booth. As an added bonus, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto also showed off some of the actions you can do at the hot springs at the new hub Seliana.

In the hot springs, which seems to be a gathering hall activity like arm wrestling with no actual benefits, players can easily switch to just wearing hot springs wear easily with the square button to either only show the legs (for the foot bath) or change the whole hunter into hot springs towel wear. There are various actions that you can do in the hot springs, such as playing with the Palico. Producer Tsujimoto mentioned that he didn’t plan on showing Seliana’s gathering hall originally, but decided to anyways.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne releases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2019. It’ll arrive to PC via Steam in Winter 2019. Incidentally, the Glavenus subspecies Acidic Glavenus was recently shown off here.
