During a search of Steam’s upcoming games, it was discovered that two official Touhou games by Team Shanghai Alice are set to join the platform, letting global players try out these games for the first time. These games are Double Spoiler and Fairy Wars, which feature Aya Shameimaru and Cirno as the protagonists respectively.
Double Spoiler originally released on March 14, 2010 at the 7th Reitaisai, while Fairy Wars was released at Comiket 78 on August 14, 2010. Double Spoiler plays differently from most regular Touhou games, where the player must shoot photographs instead of bullets in order to shame them into losing. Scores are ranked by how well the photos are shot.
Meanwhile, Fairy Wars stars Cirno, and she is able to use a freezing attack that can be used to freeze chains of bullets at once, which award a massive amount of points.
