Nintendo has announced a rather major Super Mario Maker 2 milestone. On Twitter, it confirmed that the game has passed the two million custom courses mark. The hallmark was announced on July 9, 2019.

This means that, in under two weeks, people have shared over two million levels in Course World. Super Mario Maker 2 has only been out since June 28, 2019. Nintendo did not offer any other details, such as how many custom courses were released in each region.

Super Mario Maker 2 is known for its many firsts for the series. It introduced a story mode, for example. It also offers multiplayer for the first time.

Super Mario Maker 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch.
