Mighty Gunvolt Burst Jumps And Shoots Onto Steam On July 31

At Anime Expo 2019, Inti Creates announced at their panel that Mighty Gunvolt Burst, the 2D spinoff featuring Beck from Mighty No. 9 and Gunvolt from the Gunvolt series is coming to PC via Steam.

As a reminder regarding what the game is about, Mighty Gunvolt Burst is a Mega Man-styled game featuring the settings and characters (including 8 bosses) from Mighty No. 9, made as a sequel to bonus game Mighty Gunvolt with the blessing of Comcept. While Mighty Gunvolt was a short bonus game with only a few stages, Mighty Gunvolt Burst is completely separate and is a very tightly-designed platforming game that also features weapon customization as a main element.

Like the PlayStation 4 version, which was renamed as Gal Gunvolt Burst, Ekoro will be one of the three playable characters available from the start, and the rest of the DLC characters, including Copen, Call, Joule, Tenzou, and Ray, will be available Day 1.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst is available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS, and is coming to PC via Steam on July 31, 2019. The game will cost $9.99. The game is also available under the name Gal Gunvolt Burst on PlayStation 4.
