It’s been a year since we’ve heard about the live-action Detention movie that ended up not premiering in 2018, but earlier today the official Facebook was updated with a new visual that also announced the new premiere date: September 20, 2019. [Thanks, Bahamut!]

For those who don’t know about Detention, the game is a Taiwanese horror game that takes place at Greenwood High School in the 1960s, when Taiwan was still under martial law. Protagonist Ray gets lost in the mysterious campus filled with mysterious objects, evil monsters, and puzzles, and must find a way to return to safety.

The visual shows off protagonist Fang Ray Shin walking the halls of a haunted high school, like the original game. As previously announced, Ray is being portrayed by actress Gingle Wang, and the movie is being directed by Lee Lieh.

Detention is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The movie releases in Taiwan on September 20, 2019.
