Back in 2015, Mr. Tired Media revealed it was working on a dungeon-crawling RPG with visual novel elements called Undead Darlings: No Cure for Love. In it, people would have a chance to romance zombie girls while trying to survive the apocalypse. Now, at E3 2019, it has returned. Sekai Project has revealed it is publishing the game, which will appear on the PlayStation 4 in Q4 2019.
In Undead Darlings, players follow Reginald “Reggie” Happenstance, the son of a doctor responsible for a zombie plague. He entrusted Reggie with the only cure, in the hopes he could find a way to create enough of it to end the plague and restore humanity. He is working alongside multiple zombie girls who fight to protect him after the apocalypse so they can all save the day. (In addition, you can form relationships with the different heroines.)
Initially, Undead Darlings had a failed Kickstarter in 2015. It then headed back to Kickstarter again in 2016. Later that year, it turned to Patreon to create a PlayStation 4 and PC version of the game.
