Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered received an update during the Square Enix E3 2019 media briefing. In addition to a Winter 2019 release window, smartphone compatibility was confirmed. Both Android and Apple iOS logos were shown on the screen, as well as a clip showing them on a phone. Online gameplay will be possible in all versions.
