Dragon Star Varnir PC Port Arriving In 2019 With No Modified CGs

Idea Factory International has announced it isn’t just bringing Dragon Star Varnir to the PlayStation 4 outside of Japan. It will also release the RPG on the PC. In 2019, people will be able to pick up the game on Steam.

In addition, Idea Factory International confirmed that the Dragon Star Varnir PC port will be slightly different than the localized PlayStation 4 release. To start, two CG scenes in the North American and European PlayStation 4 version of the game have been, as the company noted in a press release, “slightly modified for this game.” This port “will include all gameplay content in the Japanese version.” That means those two CGs will appear as they did in the Japanese PlayStation 4 release.

There will also be additional language options for the PC version of Dragon Star Varnir. People will be able to choose English, Japanese, or Traditional Chinese subtitles.

Dragon Star Varnir will make its North American PlayStation 4 debut on June 11, 2019, followed by a European release on June 14, 2019. The PC version will arrive in 2019. It is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Japan as Varnir of the Dragon Star.
