During the Pokemon Direct, five new Pokemon from Pokemon Sword and Shield were introduced. Each one is exclusive to the Galar region. When people head there, they will be able to catch and train Corviknight, Drednaw, Eldegoss, Gossifleur, and Wooloo. (Eldegoss is the evolved form of Gossifleur.)

The Pokemon Direct started by introducing Wooloo. This is a sheep type of Pokemon. People use the creature’s wool to make crafts and products. It is a Normal type, and its abilities could be Fluffy or Run Away.

After that, there was a look at Gossifleur. This is a flower-type Pokemon. It has healing pollen and can evolve to Eldegoss. When it evolves, you can see its seeds in its “hair.” Gossifleur and Eldegoss are both grass-types, and each could have the Cotton Down or Regenerator abilities.

drednaw

Drednaw is a bite-type Pokemon. It is known for its ferocity. Allegedly, only strong trainers can tame it. It is both a Rock and Water-type, and its abilities could be Strong Jaw or Shell Armor.

Finally, there was Corviknight. It is a bird type Pokemon that acts as a flying taxi. This character will appear in towns and let you talk to it to visit towns you were already in. It is a Flying and Steel-type, and it could have the abilities Pressure or Unnerve.

Pokemon Sword and Shield is in development for the Nintendo Switch and will be released on November 15, 2019.
