Criminal Girls X is going to deviate from the norm. This installment will have 24 characters to reform, as well as be a mobile and PC game with free-to-play and one-off purchase options. An April 26, 2019 announcement date was set by Mikage and Nippon Ichi Software previously, and now we know what will be shown off on that day and on May 31, 2019.

The April 26, 2019 Criminal Girls X announcement will involve character reveals. We don’t know how many, but some of the heroines should appear. The website will also transform from a teaser site into a full one on that date. In addition, screenshots and a trailer will be released.

The next major date for Criminal Girls X will be May 31, 2019. That is when people will learn more about its virtual reality support, which was first teased back in February 2018. Gameplay footage will appear on that day too.

Here is Mikage’s tweet announcing the upcoming reveals.

In Criminal Girls X, players follow a new prison officer who has been turned into a cat. To save their beloved, they must rehabilitate 24 criminal girls in Asura in one year. Once the cat wakes up in their new role, they have no memories of their human life and only know they have to help reform these women. It will not have punishment sessions, like past games.

Criminal Girls X is currently in development for PCs and both Android and Apple iOS devices in Japan. A possible western PS4 release may occur.
