Sega Mega Drive Mini To Have Asia-Specific Version With Sword of Vermilion And More

Sega Games has released more information on the Mega Drive Mini, specifically that the mini console will have a separate Asia release with some titles that are (as of now) exclusive to it. [Thanks, Bahamut!]

While the Mega Drive Mini (Asia) will also have 40 games like Japan’s and the Genesis Mini, the Mega Drive Mini will only be sold in its two-controller variation in Asia. Here are the games confirmed for the Asia version below (current exclusives in bold):

The Sega Mega Drive Mini will release in Asia the same day as the other versions, namely September 19, 2019.
