Agetec used to regularly bring out niche titles like Armored Core and Magic Pengel: The Quest for Color. Aside from Way of the Samurai 3 we haven’t heard too much from the publisher, so we we’re pretty surprised when we discovered Paul’s Shooting Adventure.
The game hasn’t been announced, but the ESRB leaked it with this wacky description.
This is a side-scrolling shooter game in which players control a baby that must avoid a whimsical enemy onslaught. Players shoot out blue fireballs, tiny hammers, and throwing stars at crabs, shrimp, and the occasional octopus. When defeated, enemies burst into fruit and pacifiers amidst occasional explosive effects.
Paul’s Shooting Adventure is for the Nintendo DSi, which probably means its a DSiWare title. Also, a side-scrolling game starring a fireball shooting baby doesn’t sound like the kind of game retailers are rushing to stock.
