Hideo Kojima Reveals Japanese Death Stranding Voice Acting Recording Begins

Another step forward is being taken in Death Stranding’s development. Hideo Kojima, the creator of the upcoming PlayStation 4 game, has revealed Japanese voice acting has begun. Both Kojima’s and actor Kenjiro Tsuda noted the event on their Twitter accounts.

Here is Kojima’s official tweet, which notes Death Stranding voice acting recording has begun with Tsuda and Nana Mizuki and shares pictures of all of them.

As Kojima noted, Tsuda will be playing Sam Bridges, the role Norman Reedus holds in the English cast. Mizuki is providing the Japanese voice acting for the heroine Seydoux is playing. (Her name has not yet been revealed.) Tsuda also played Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Zaveid in Tales of Berseria and Zestiria, and Chikage Kazama in Hakuoki. Mizuki is a singer who is also known for playing Ann Takamaki in Persona 5, Paz Ortega Andrade in Metal Gear Solid, and Colette Brunel in Tales of Symphonia.

Death Stranding is in development for the PlayStation 4.
