Some Undertale teasing is happening on the Internet this morning. The official Twitter accounts for both the game and Toby Fox, its creator, have been sending out cryptic messages revealing an October 31, 2018 announcement.

It all began on Fox’s account, where a message suggested “someone” wanted to talk to us.

About an hour after Fox’s message, the official Undertale account began sending out teasing messages. It began with a “WELCOME.” Following that, there were brief notes that led to the following message when put together. (Remember, Papyrus always speaks in all-caps in Undertale.)

WELCOME.

HAVE YOU BEEN LOOKING

FOR ME?

HOW WONDERFUL.

I

HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU

AS WELL.

I HAVE SOMETHING

SOMETHING I WANT TO SHOW YOU

SOMETHING

I THINK YOU WILL FIND

VERY,

VERY,

INTERESTING

BUT

IT IS NOT COMPLETE

YET

NO

IT IS FAR FROM COMPLETE

THUS I HAVE A SMALL FAVOUR TO ASK OF YOU.

RETURN HERE IN [24] HOURS.

AT THAT TIME,

I WILL ASK YOU A FEW QUESTIONS.

THEN

USING YOUR RESPONSES

WE WILL APPROACH ITS REALIZATION.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME.

I WILL BE IN CONTACT AGAIN

SOON.

These messages were following by another tweet from Fox noting that whatever this project is, it will require a PC.

Undertale is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. As a reminder, an Undertale Alarm Clock app was announced in 2017 and has a tentative 2018 release window.
