Fan translation group Aeon Genesis released an English fan translation patch for Shin Megami Tensei if… today. The translation patch is made to work with the Super Famicom version of the game.
Shin Megami Tensei if… was one of the major influences that led to the creation of the Persona series, with its well-received modern high school setting. The protagonist explores the demon-infested Karukozaka High School and five other towers based on the Seven Deadly Sins in classic SMT fashion, recruiting demons and fighting off enemies along the way. There are also multiple routes that diverge based on who you ally yourself with, which will determine what ending you get.
