Theme Park University recently posted saying that The Legend of Zelda series is supposedly now getting its own area, as part of Nintendo and Universal’s Super Nintendo World deal. [Thanks, GameXplain!]

The Zelda area at Universal Orlando Resort will supposedly replace The Lost Continent section of Islands of Adventure, bordering Seuss Landing and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

As mentioned back in April, where it was stated by close sources that the Pokémon series was to get its own area as well, Super Nintendo World is now rumored to span over several of the Orlando parks instead of just Universal Studios Florida, including an unannounced third park just down the road. All this is supposedly in order to compete with Disney.

While nothing is official until it is officially stated by Universal Studios, Theme Park University are confident in their sources for the Zelda rumor.
