Donut County, the Ben Esposito and Annapurna game about using a steadily growing hole to remove items from an environment, has a release date. It will be arriving on the PlayStation 4, PC, and Apple iOS devices on August 28, 2018.
In Donut County, players follow a raccoon named BK. In the name of cleaning things up, he uses a remote-controlled hole to gradually remove things from the environment. The hole starts out small, but increases in size as it swallows up more things. (This eventually leads to BK, his friend Mira, and his clients all being stuck 999 feet underground.) Different locations require you to acquiring items in different orders or solve puzzles until you are finally capable of making everything fall into the hole.
Donut County will come to the PlayStation 4, PC, and Apple iOS devices on August 28, 2018. Ben Esposito previously worked on What Remains of Edith Finch and The Unfinished Swan.
