While it may have some characters designed by Tetsuya Nomura and an all-boys cast, that’s not Final Fantasy XV—it’s the new opening animation for Square Enix’s upcoming mobile game Idol Fantasy.

Idol Fantasy sounds like it could be another Final Fantasy rhythm game spinoff, but it’s a new smarpthone game targeted towards the female audience, similar to Uta no Prince-sama, with an all-boys cast designed by illustrators including Kirishima So, Teita, Jiro Suzuki, and memo. It also has a rival rock idol group called “LuCer” designed by Tetsuya Nomura, which you can check out here.

The idol units featured in the animated trailer are “Brave Hearts,” “E-lements,” “Jingi,” and “Sweets Monstar.” You can check our previous report to learn more about them.

Square Enix previously mentioned that it is putting some serious effort into its choreography, as they’ve hired numerous dancers to help with the dance formations and routines.

We don’t know too much about the gameplay, but in addition to the music parts it has all kinds of scenes you can expect to see in the idol business, including live shows, movies, filming for television, and much more.

Idol Fantasy launches in Japan in Summer 2018 for iOS and Android.
