PlatinumGames and Dena’s action mobile game with Japanese ink-illustration designs has soft launched in three countries. People in Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore can now download World of Demons for Apple iOS devices. The game is free-to-play, though iTunes does note there are Voyager’s Pack (~$4.98) and Small Pouch of Soulstones (~$3.23.) in-app purchases.

In World of Demons, people follow Onimaru and Sayo. Their world is infested with oni, and the two of them are attempting to fight back. As they use their skills to defeat enemies, they will also be able to recruit and use yokai as allies. There will be single player modes, including ones in which you can choose a friend’s samurai to join you, and a Yokai Showdown competitive arena.
