SaGa series creator and general director Akitoshi Kawazu, SaGa: Scarlet Grace director Yasuhiro Ikuta and producer Masashi Ichikawa got together to talk about the differences between PS4, Switch, PC, and smartphone versions of the RPG.

The purpose of the video interview with the developers is to inform viewers about the differences for the four platforms, especially for those who are unsure which version they want to get.

We start out with a look at the PS4 version at the 0:49 mark of the video, where it is noted that this part is a recording from the game on PlayStation 4 Pro. We can check out some of t he new voicing in the game as well. Kawazu says that this is an RPG where you’ll go around exploring different places, stories, battles, and such, so it’s a standard RPG, but what sets it apart from others is that there aren’t any long dungeons that drag on and they focused on making a good tempo that lets you go through the game smoothly.

Director Ikuta adds that the focus on temp also applies to the battle system, events, and movement on the map for an overall smooth pace. The battle footage and overworld parts give us a good idea what they mean.

At the 4:05 mark of the video, we get into the differences between each platform as shown in the chart below:
