The Caligula Effect: Overdose will get a Day 1 patch that adds postgame content such as freely making a party of Go-Home Club and Ostinato Musicians, and game mechanics such as an autobattle mode for characters other than the main character.
The Songstress’ Dream
After beating the game, when you fulfill certain requirements, you become able to create a mixed party of Go-Home Club members and Ostinato Musicians. This is non-canon, and purely for the player’s leisure. There is also dialogue between party members from both factions that players can look forward to hearing in battle.
Boss Rematches
After beating the game, you can go back to where you beat the bosses previously and fight them again. This includes fights against the Go-Home Club, done when the main character is in his Lucid form.
World Reward
World Reward is a system that also exists in the PlayStation Vita game, where there is a low chance of keywords being dropped in battle. By collecting the keywords, you can fight special hard enemies who have specific traumas. This is a recommended feature for people who have beaten the game.
Autobattle
By pressing the Options buttons, characters other than the protagonist will take their own actions. This is to help speed up battles against weak enemies, so it’s not recommended for hard enemies.
Difficulty Change
In ‘Config’ in the Main Menu, it will become possible to change the difficulty whenever the player wants to.
Sort Function added to Items and WIRE
A sort function added to more easily look for items based on search requirements.
Other
Several bugs will be fixed in the patch, and several skills and Stigmas have been adjusted.
The Caligula Effect: Overdose will be available for PlayStation 4 on May 17, 2018.
