Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze releases worldwide this Friday on the Switch, but it appears that Nintendo has removed the original game’s digital version for Wii U on the eShop.

Update 2: This appears to be happening on the North American Wii U eShop. The game is still available in the European and Japanese eShops.

Update: The eShop appears to have brought back Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, so it could’ve simply been a little mistake on their part. [Thanks, GoNintendo.]

The delisting of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was noticed yesterday alongside the official website which no longer has a digital option. While it may no longer be available for purchase digitally, those who have purchased it before can still get it from the downloads history.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will release on May 4, 2018 for Nintendo Switch for $59.99. The Wii U version was selling for $19.99 before its removal.
