Back on March 27, 2018, Idol Manager appeared on Kickstarter. This business management simulator with dark comedic elements is designed to offer a different kind of take on the Japanese idol management game that we see in titles like The Idolmaster. The project hoped to raise $5,000 by April 26, 2018 and smashed that goal. Now, in the final stretch, it is nearing the final stretch goal that would make a Nintendo Switch port a reality.
As of 9:30am CT on April 25, 2018, people had managed to raise over $41,500 to make Idol Manager a reality. The Nintendo Switch stretch goal is $50,000. Previous stretch goals that were met mean that mature content, the option to be a male or female manager, mod support, original and licensed vocal tracks will be a part of the soundtrack and asynchronous multiplayer will all be added to the game.
In Idol Manager, players are a talent agency manager who is working with pop stars.
