More information was recently shown off for Snack World Trejarers Gold, focusing on details on what has changed from the 3DS version of the game, including graphics and combat. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Firstly, Trejarers Gold has improved graphics, and now supports 5.1 Surround Sound. The soundtrack also uses an orchestra now as well.
In terms of gameplay and combat, all character animations and effects have been revised to be more impactful. Players can now combo up to six attacks at once, and the camera can now be moved to see more of the field at the player’s disposal.
Apart from player actions, enemies have been strengthened, and changed to be more aggressive. This makes strategic switching of Jarers even more important.
In Trejarers Gold, after clearing a quest players go into Trejarer Time mode, where players get different amounts of awards depending on their contribution in the quest.
Apart from normal and Grand rewards, Trejarers Gold adds Miracle rewards which are even rarer, but very powerful.
The Miracle weapons are made by a new in-game brand named Mado-do, which is a brand from a foreign country with advanced magic techniques.
The game will also support the NFC figures and Jarer toys sold in Japan, and if players are lucky, they might get good weapons.
Finally, the game will have both DLC packs for the 3DS game, and also includes the first four episodes of The Snack World anime.
Here’s several more screenshots:
The Snack World: Trejarers Gold will release in Japan for Nintendo Switch on April 12, 2018.
