Seeing Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies in the top spot is hardly unexpected. However, Famitsu gave a nod to Uncharted 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, two Western titles. Maybe Square Enix’s Extreme Edges has a chance to succeed. After all, Famitsu considered them the best video game maker of 2009 too.
