Atlus shared the latest information on Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night with info on its story, Social Link, events, and a big batch of new screenshots.
In “Dancing!” you’ll have members of SEES (or the Phantom Thieves) play in a rhythm game. It offers up to four difficulty levels. There are 25 songs total including new songs that can be unlocked by clearing songs. In these games, you can take advantage of the “Fever Time” feature that lets you dance together with a partner character, as shown in the above screenshots.
Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night’s story starts with a sudden gathering at of the members of SEES who find themselves in a place called Club Velvet. Elizabeth (who gives herself the nickname “Eli-P” appears to tell the guests that she’s going to throw a party and that they’ll have to show off their best dance moves as her guests.
The story continues with Elizabeth in charge of everything and having the members of SEES perform at the party, but nobody knows why.
Persona 5: Dancing Star Night’s story starts with the protagonist waking up and finding himself along with the other Phantom Thieves in Club velvet. The Velvet Room residents Justine and Caroline appear and announce that they’re throwing a dance party. Just like the others from Persona 3 Dancing, the Phantom Thieves are forced into participating in this “request” from the Velvet Room twins. Nobody knows exactly why they’re throwing the party and why dancing is a requirement.
The Social Link is where you’ll get to hang out with the friends and check out the mini-events. These are unlocked for each character by clearing certain conditions, and doing so will also unlock costumes. By sharing enthusiasm for dancing and having a heart-to-heart, you’ll deepen your bonds.
You can unlock various costumes and accessories by clearing certain conditions in the game. They range from cool to funny, and come with different styles that you can try on for your favorite characters.
