Last year, Sakura Wars creator Oji Hiroi, and Sony subsidiary ForwardWorks, worked together to release a smartphone game called Sora to Umi no Aida, which also later received a PC version. The game is now available in Chinese in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau region app stores. [Thanks, Bahamut!]
Producer Oji Hiroi, and ForwardWorks director Tomoki Kawaguchi flew to Taiwan to celebrate the official release. Hiroi expressed that as he is a big fan of Taiwan, having traveled there over 150 times on trips, he was happy that Taiwan was chosen as the first place to receive the game outside of Japan.
Taiwan So-net is handling the Chinese localization of the mobile title, which consists of fully voiced story segments and Monster Strike-esque gameplay.
Sora to Umi no Aida is available for iPhone, Android, and PC.
