Auto-Staccato doesn’t just challenge players to defeat hordes of warriors, vicious animals, and other creatures. It also expects players to do it to the tune of the beat, slamming their foes along with the battle music in this mixture of rhythm game and fantasy action game.

Auto-Staccato places the player in various settings filled with incoming monsters and then tasks them with defeating them all. To do well, though, players will have to strike to the beat, gaining more points should they hit a monster with the proper timing. This can be done across various modes like 3 or 5-Lane Single Song (which may be familiar to Guitar Hero fans), Horde Mode for those who want a bit more freedom to play with the beat, and a First-Person Mode for those who want a closer look at their foes.

Players will be given a suite of music they can try out at different difficulties, but they don’t just have to stick to the in-game tracks. Players can import their own songs into the game, with the game analyzing the music and creating a stage out of it.
