Capcom Tells How Rashid Can Become Viewtiful Joe In Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

Ahead of the Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition launch, Capcom has put together an informational post going over some of the things people can expect to see and do after the game update. One of highlights is an Extra Battle Mode where people can participate in certain fights to earn costumes, experience, Fight Money (FM), and titles The first costume will be a Viewtiful Joe outfit for Rashid.

 

To collect the Viewtiful Joe outfit, people will need to participate in four challenges between January 16-February 15, 2018. Each one costs 2,500 FM, will last for about a week, and will reward you with a Viewtiful Joe icon. If you collect all four icons, then you get the crossover costume for Rashid. Challenge 1 runs from January 16-25, 2018, Challenge 2 goes from January 26-February 1, 2018, you can take on Challenge 3 from February 2-8, 2018, and Challenge 4 will be held February 9-15, 2018.

 

Some of the other Extra Battle Mode events were also revealed. The Dark Revenger title can be earned by paying 1,000 FM to face the Dark Revenger from February 2-4, 2018. There will also be ways to earn more experience and FM via Golden Shadaloo Soldier fights. Between January 19-21, 2018, people can pay 500 FM to fight a Slightly Wealthy Low-Rank Shadaloo Golden Soldier up to three times for 2,500 FM each time. January 26-28, 2018, there will be a Rapidly Growing Low-Rank Shadaloo Golden Soldier to fight up to three times for 500 FM in return for a 10,000 EXP reward each time. Finally, between February 9-11, 2018, a 1,000 FM Newly Wealthy Mid-Rank Shadaloo Soldier match will appear and offer a 5,000 FM reward. (You can also fight that battle up to three times.)
