Capcom asked players in a web survey to list select weapons they used during the recent Monster Hunter: World beta on PS4. Here are the top weapons that saw hunting action during the beta test that were shared on the game’s official Twitter account.
Below are the top most used weapons in the Monster Hunter: World beta, including their usage percentages. The survey allowed participants to select multiple choices.
#8 (Tie) Charge Blade and Hammer – 35.7%
#7 Switch Axe – 36.2%
#6 Bow – 38.3%
#5 Heavy Bowgun – 38.4%
#4 Insect Glaive – 40.2%
#3 Dual Blades – 43%
#2 Long Sword – 49.8%
#1 Great Sword – 51.1%
The first beta test was only available for PS Plus subscribers, but if you missed out then you’ll get to try out the second beta test that will be available for all players from December 22 through December 26, 2017. Capcom will have another survey so we might get an updated list of most popular weapons later.
Monster Hunter: World releases on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version will arrive later.
