Monster Hunter: World is getting a collaboration with Japan Racing Association, in the form of web browser minigames that have hunters on horses fighting monsters such as the Great Jagras.

Surprisingly, the game has armor forging system similar to the main game, only that in this minigame, players create armor for their horses. Monster Hunter-related Youtuber Gaijinhunter created a video, going through the minigames and introducing how to play:

There is also a collaboration event at Akihabara, where players can ride a horse against a arcade horse racing game, with a statue of the Nergigante facing them the entire time.

Monster Hunter: World will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26, 2018, with the PC version coming later.
