News about what to expect from Stardew Valley in the new year has arrived. 2018 will be a big year for the game, ranging from new content to an entirely new version of the game. Perhaps the biggest news has to do with the PlayStation Vita iteration, though a number of other updates have been confirmed.

The PlayStation Vita version of Stardew Valley will launch in 2018. Sony’s version will be cross-buy, so those with the PlayStation 4 digital version will also own the PlayStation Vita version. The PlayStation Vita version will not receive any multiplayer content.

The multiplayer Stardew Valley beta will begin on PCs in Q1 2018. This update will even influence in-game events, such as the Flower Dance, as it will let you dance with the other player if you have not raised affections enough with other bachelors or bachelorettes. A screenshot from a submarine that shows players fishing underwater has also been released.

Finally, four more languages will be added to Stardew Valley in 2018. People will be able to play in French, Italian, Korean, and Turkish.

Stardew Valley is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
