Bandai Namco revealed the latest info on Dragon Ball FighterZ with the reveal of three new playable characters with Dragon Ball Super’s Goku Black, Beerus, and Hit in this week’s issue of Jump magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

Here’s some info on the new characters:

  • Beerus: His Meteor Special “God of Destruction’s Judgment” appears to be a grab move that follows with a forehead flick and combo. His “Sphere of Destruction” is a ball that explodes when touched by the opponent.

  • Hit: His Meteor Special “I will continue to grow” stops time and is followed by a combo attack. He’s able to perform teleportation attacks and movements.

  • Goku Black: His Meteor Special “Work of God” starts with a hand blade attack and is followed by a clone attack. He can also bring out Zamasu to bind th e opponent.

The magazine also shares information on new elements. First is the “Come forth, Shenron!” where Shenron actually appears in the middle of battle. This is made possible when you gather 7 Dragon Balls for landing a certain number of combos. The number needed is shared between you and the opponent, and the player who fulfills the condition gets to choose out of four wishes of full health recovery, revive ally, additional sparking icon, or health regeneration.

The next new element is “Dramatic Scenes” where you can check out famous scenes from the anime before and after battles by meeting certain conditions. This includes the following scenes that you might recognize:
