When the PlayStation Blog announced the PlayStation Experience 2017 game lineup, it essentially stealth-announced DJMax Respect for the West. Now, Neowiz Games has officially announced the game. It will be released on the PlayStation 4 outside of Japan via the PlayStation Store in early 2018.

As a reminder, DJMax Respect has 147 songs in it. 40 are brand new to the series, while the other 107 and taken from past DJMax games and presented at 60fps at 1080p. The game has local and online multiplayer, achievements, and leaderboards.

DJMax Respect’s PlayStation Experience 2017 booth events have been announced as well via Facebook. The exact date isn’t specified in the images, as PSX 2017 takes place on December 9-10, 2017, but people will apparently be able to compete from 1pm PT to 3pm PT at the game. The top winner receives a limited edition, a cushion, and t-shirts, the second place prize is a cushion and t-shirts, and the third place prize is just t-shirts. The developer, NB Red, will be there at 4pm PT-5pm PT and, if people defeat him, they will get additional DJMax Respect prizes.

DJMax Respect is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Asia.
