The GameStop Power Pass, a program that would allow PowerUp Rewards members to rent pre-owned games for six months, has been paused. The program was set to begin on November 19, 2017 and would have allowed people to pay $60 to participate. It has been now put on hold. (Thanks, Kotaku!)

No reason has been provided for the Power Pass halt. GameStop stores are removing signs for the program and removing advertisements that mention it. Those who already bought the pass and have a game can get a refund, return the game and get a pre-owned game for free in exchange.
