Yuri kinetic novel Blackberry Honey takes players back to 19th century England, casting them as Lorina, a maid who recently lost her a prestigious position. Now, she’s forced to work with the Lennard family, although there may be some perks in the form of an older maid, Taohua.
Lorina finds herself bullied by the other staff at her new job, caught up in rumors about her sudden firing at her last position, and overworked with fourteen hour days. Even the Lennard family’s child, Lady Constance, treats her poorly. The only person at her new position who treats her well is Taohua, a normally-aloof, solitary maid, who is rumored to be a witch. It’s someone Lorina thinks she ought to steer clear of, but her kindness slowly draws the two together.
Blackberry Honey aims to tell a seven to ten hour story, offering no choices for players to make as they work their way through the budding romance between the two maids.
Blackberry Honey is available now on Steam.
