Bandai Namco shared a new trailer for Gintama Rumble with a look at its Musou-style action and parts of the Benizakura story chapter where Takasugi Shinsuke is revealed as a playable character.

Sakata Gintoki

Gintoki

Gintoki is characterized by his attacks of high range and power. He’s a versatile character with moves that are easy to use, and is great at one-on-one fights. He’s recommended for players learning the basics of the game.

 

Shimura Shinpachi

Shinpachi

Shinpachi is a reliable character with the ability to swiftly take out enemies. His attack range is okay but he’s all-rounder and is easy to use. His abilities are about average, but he doesn’t really have any weaknesses. He’s exceedingly average.

 

Kagura

Kagura

Kagura is a combo-heavy character who specializes in bursts of attacks. Her aerial attacks are especially powerful and are key to her play style.

 

Katsura Kotarou

Katsura has his basic swordsmanship down, but he’s mostly characterized by his tricky attacks that involve bombs. He really shines after you get a better understanding of his bomb’s distance.

Gintama Rumble releases in Japan on January 18, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game will release in Asia with English subtitles. First-print bonus includes the Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon.
