According to Hollywood Reporter, most of the team that was developing the Sonic film at Sony remains. This includes Deadpool director Tim Miller as executive producer, and his Blur Studio collaborator Jeff Fowler as the director.  Toby Ascher also has the title of executive producer. Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons will serve as co-producers.

Paramount plans to make a movie a blend of live-action and CGI animations for Sonic’s debut on the big screen. No further information was shared on the upcoming film.
