Rockstar Games is bringing L.A. Noire back and will be releasing it on four different platforms. People with a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or HTC Vive headset will be able to go through the adventure game again on November 14, 2017. The console versions will be a rerelease of the original game, while the VR version will take seven cases from it and rebuild them for the HTC Vive as L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of L.A. Noire sound like the typical remaster. It gives people the full version of the game with all DLC. It has native 1080p for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and runs in 4K on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. There are new high resolution textures, cinematic camera angles, and lighting and cloud enhancements.
The Nintendo Switch version of L.A. Noire is somewhat similar, but adds some features unique to the platform. Like the other console versions, it gives the game, all add-ons, and new camera angle, like ones that are over-the-shoulder. However, it forgoes the visual enhancements for a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic controls, touch screen controls when not in TV mode, and HD rumble compatibility.
L.A. Noire is immediately available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
