The King of Fighters XIV producer Yasuyuki Oda recently spoke with IGN Latin America in an interview where he revealed that SNK is working on “many new fighting games.” [Thanks, NeoGAF.]

When asked if Oda-san had anything else to add at the end of the interview, he responded “We are developing many new fighting games that we can’t reveal yet, but we’d like you to stay tuned.”

In an earlier question he was asked whether there’s a possibility of an enhanced version of The King of Fighters XIII, so we can scratch that one off the list, but King of Fighters fans can rest assured about eventually getting a next entry in the series, as he said that they are “convinced The King of Fighters XV will be a reality.”

Oda said that they could not confirm the fifteenth installment of the series or any further patches for The King of Fighters XIV. The producer did, however, say that they are always considering making new entry of series such as Fatal Fury or Art of Fighting, but he added that it comes down to getting approval from the company to follow through with it.

The King of Fighters XIV is available on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
