GungHo Is Working On A New Switch Action Game For All Ages With A Comical Tone

GungHo Online Entertainment, the company behind big hit titles such as Puzzle & Dragons, is working on a mysterious new IP for Nintendo Switch that’ll have a comical tone.

Speaking to Destructoid, GungHo CEO Kazuki Morishita shared that their upcoming Nintendo Switch game will be an “Action game for all ages with a lighter, comical tone.” While he could not compare the unannounced game to anything in the market net, he did confirm that it would be a new IP.

“No direct comparison exists,” added Morishita. “It’s a gamepla style that has not been seen before.” It’s also been revealed that the mystery game will feature both a multiplayer and single-player component.

The report also notes that the game did not start out as a Switch title, and it’s been around for about “4-5 years” before becoming what they have now.
