The new Yahoo! Games project in Japan doesn’t have a name yet, but starting today it launched a beta test that features two gaming types of “HTML5 Games” and “Cloud Games” that can be played on PC, smartphone, or tablet browsers. Compatible browsers include Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.

This platform uses video streaming technology to provide native smartphone apps and console games that are playable on PC, smartphone, and tablet. Currently, it offers Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Neko Pang! and Yokai Party as free playable titles until June 12. Those of you who wish to try it out only need a Yahoo! Japan account and can check it here.
