Back in 2004, Phantom Dust, a four-player action game featuring card-based combat, released for the original Xbox in Japan, followed by a North American release in 2005. Over a decade later, Microsoft is re-releasing the game using its original assets for an Xbox One and PC version, and it’ll be available for free on both platforms.

Direct by Panzer Dragoon‘s Yukio Futatsugi, the game didn’t become a huge hit back when it released in 2004-05, but it was always a favorite of Microsoft’s Phil Spencer. In 2013, Futatsugi-san also told Siliconera that Phantom Dust was his favorite game of all the games he has created so far, and that he’d “jump on board immediately” if Microsoft, the owners of the IP, talked about making a new Phantom Dust.
