Atlus recently revealed Etrian Mystery Dungeon, the collaboration between Spike Chunsoft’s Mystery Dungeon series and Etrian Odyssey, is getting a sequel. Here’s its first screenshots from Amazon Japan.
As previously detailed, the game adds new classes with the “Pirate,” “Alchemist,” “Monk,” and “Kenkaku.” It’ll have the same main features from the previous game such as character creation and taking on quests and powerful F.O.Es as well as Mystery Dungeon features such as loot picking, randomly generated maps, Monster Houses, weapon upgrades, traps, and more.
The above is another look at the Etrian Odyssey 10th Anniversary Box limited edition version of the game. It contains a special box, and a 200-page art collection.
First-print copies of both editions come with a “User’s Best Album” featuring tracks that are currently being voted on by fans.
Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 releases in Japan on August 31, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS.
