A Special Hat-Wearing Ash Pikachu Is Headed To Japan For Pokémon Sun & Moon

A special Pikachu is headed to Pokémon Sun & Moon in Japan to help promote the upcoming movie, Pokémon I Choose You. Hat-wearing Ash Pikachus will be available at different times through the months between April and October. [Thanks, Serebii.]

 

People who preorder tickets for the Pokémon I Choose You film will receive a Pikachushumium Z Crystal and a serial code which can be redeemed once for one of the hat-wearing Pikachus. To get a Pikachu wearing a specific hat, you can refer to the list below which shows when each hat will be available to redeem the code for. Additionally, details on the Pikachu that comes with each hat can also be found below.

 

– Original Cap can be obtained from April 15th to May 1st and then July 19th to July 31st. This Pikachu will be Level 1 and know the moves Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Thunder, and Agility.

– Hoenn Cap from May 3rd through May 15th then again August 2nd through August 14th. This one will be Level 6 and know Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Thunder, and Iron Tail.

– Sinnoh Cap from May 17th to May 29th with a repeat on August 16th through August 28th. Will be Level 10 and know the moves Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, and Volt Tackle.

– From May 31st through June 12th you can get the Unova Cap, repeated on August 30th through September 11th. This Pikachu will be level 14 and know Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, and Volt Tackle.

– From June 14th through June 26th you can get the Kalos Cap, repeated September 13th through 25th. This one will be level 17 and know the moves Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, and Electro Ball.

– From June 28th to July 17th you can get the Alola Cap Pikachu, repeated from September 27th through October 9th. This one will be level 20 and know Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, and Electro Ball.

 

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are available for the Nintendo 3DS.
